Inspired by the leading edge research of Dr. Ray Lemieux, he moved to Canada in 1959 to join the University of Ottawa as a Research Fellow. In 1961, he joined Dr. Abram Hoffer's world-renowned schizophrenia research team at the University of Saskatchewan as Chief Research Scientist. In 1967, he joined the Health Protection Branch, Health & Welfare Canada, where he eventually became the Chief of the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Division and founding Editor of the Journal of Biopharmaceutics & Drug Disposition. |
