The R. C. A. F. is an association that spreads across Canada, made up of mostly Air Force personnel. Locally, membership measures approximately 250 people.

The Wing #433 became officially Chartered on May 14, 1954. Through time, we have become a full service club, with generous sums of money being donated to all local charities and causes, including the Sunshine Coach.

We own the Bruce Mcphail airfield in Cobden and we are the sole sponsor of the 653 Champlain Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron. Parade nights are held every Tuesday, from September to June.

We are proud to have designed and constituted the Air Force Memorial Park, along the Bonnechere River, in downtown Renfrew.

The Wing is pleased to be the host of weekly Bingo games:

  • Sport Renfrew Bingo: Sunday’s at 7:00 PM
  • The AFAC Champlain Sr. Bingo: Wednesday’s at 7:00 PM

We sponsor a number of other community activities:

  • Senior’s Shuffleboard & Card Games
  • Indoor walking for healthy living
  • Men’s & Youth’s Dart League
  • Royal Canadian Air Cadets

Plus, we play host to numerous annual events, including:

  • Renfrew Amateur Wrestling Tournaments
  • Christmas & Easter Craft Sales
  • R.C.I. Reunions
  • New Years Eve Festivities
